The apprenticeship scheme runs over 2  years  for each level with attendance at Shetland College

Compilation of Portfolio of Evidence

Various short courses

Typical duties will include
Duties will include preparation, cooking and presentation of dishes.  You will cover areas such as health & safety and hygiene.  You may also be required to cover table service,  payments, ordering stock and any other relevant duties.

 

Personal Qualities, Skills and Qualifications
Application should have a good basic standard of education e.g. National 4 or 5. Home Economics would be an advantage but not essential.

Applicants must have a good standard of personal hygiene.

A strong commitment to and interested in working in a catering environment.
